LIMPIA TUS PLAYAS

Recientemente Roxy en conjunto con Waves Costa Rica realizaron el evento Roxy Limpia Tus Playas 2010. Playa Jaco recibio a las 32 chicas que ganaron el concurso para participar en esta actividad que incluia clases de surf, yoga, pilates y un dia divertido en la playa.

Nathaly Bernold, Brooks Wilson, Andrea Diaz y Josymar Fuentes fueron los surfeadores que se unieron a esta iniciativa, trasmitiendole a las participantes el amor por el mar y el espiritu del surf.

El dia comenzo con uan charla explicativa sobre el reciclaje y la importancia del Refugio de Vida Silvestre Playa Hermosa-Puntamala, el cual se encuentra ubicado a pocos kilometros de Jaco. Seguidamente los voluntarios y las chicas ganadoras contribuyerons a limpiar y clasificar la basura. Con este calentamiento Andrea Diaz en conjunto con Josymar Fuentes y la chica Roxy Costa Rica Nathaly Bernold le impartieron lecciones de surf a las chicas que provenian de los colegios y universidades de San Jose y sus alrededores.

Recently Roxy and Waves Costa Rica hosted the event - Roxy Clean Your Beach 2010. Jaco Beach received the 32 girls who won the competition to participate in this fun activity that included surfing lessons, yoga, pilates and a fun day at the beach.

Nathaly Bernold, Brooks Wilson, Andrea Fuentes Diaz and Josymar were the surfers who have joined this initiative, participants who passed onto the love of the sea and the spirit of surfing.

The day began with uan explanatory talk about recycling and the importance of the Wildlife Refuge-Puntamala Playa Hermosa, which is located a few kilometers from Jaco. Then the volunteers and the girls winning contributing to clean and sort the trash. After this warm up, Andrea Diaz Josymar together with Fuentes and Nathaly Bernold, gave surf lessons he taught the girls who came from colleges and universities in San Jose and surrounding areas.

Thanks to Roxy and Waves Costa Rica for supporting this event, which contributes to environmental education from the beaches of Costa Rica through our beloved sport: Surfing
