Today's Date: 8/25/2017

The best tico in the WQS 3,000 points of Virginia, United States, that runs already and closes next Sunday, Tomas King Beach of Tamarindo beach, got today its best result so far this year after qualifying to the quarterfinals, Action that will raise almost 100 positions in the ranking.

As the only Spanish-speaking surfer in the quarterfinals last 3,000 points of the year in the World Qualifying Series (WQS), Tomas assured these instances, 840 points and $ 1250 to his personal account.

This move ensures that you get into the Top 200 (figure 264) and look for better points in the rest of the year so that, in 2018, there are three Costa Ricans with the right to run the "Prime" or events of 10,000 points , Which are taken into account from 100 onwards in 2017.

For their part, Carlos Muñoz and Jair Perez, said goodbye to the event in round 4, action that gives them 330 and 360 points respectively.
Jair will open with this in the 2017 ranking from the Top 500 (of 1,200) and Carlos Muñoz will not improve his score that still has him in the 19 position.
