Attention: Tomás King 2nd in WQS 3.000 in the Philippines!

The best Tomas King of history sub championed today at dawn hours in Costa Rica (late in the Philippines), WQS 3,000 Siargao Island points, then losing the final by seconds to Brazilian Raoni Monteiro.

Nevertheless, Tomás, who had finished fifth in 3,000 of Virginia, which had been his best result since the WQS, today improved his result and with 2250 points higher, he jumped a total of 74 positions in the table, which places him in position 70 (from 144), an area that will accredit him to run events of 10,000 points next to Noe Mar McGonagle and Carlos Muñoz.

On a right wave that was provided for the Tamarindo surfer to show his best attribute being his frontside, Tomás combined 16.33 (7.83 + 8.50) versus the 17.06 (9.03 + 8.03) of Raoni.

El mejor Tomás King de la historia sub campeonizó hoy en horas de la madrugada en Costa Rica (tarde en Filipinas), el WQS 3.000 puntos de Siargao Island, después perder la final por segundos ante el brasileño Raoni Monteiro.

No obstante, Tomás que venía de cerrar quinto en el 3.000 de Virginia, el cual había sido su mejor resultado desde que corre el WQS, hoy mejoró su resultado y con 2250 puntos más al ranking, saltó un total de 74 puestos en la tabla, lo cual lo ubica en el puesto 70 (desde el 144), zona que lo acreditará para correr eventos de 10.000 puntos al lado de Noe Mar McGonagle y Carlos Muñoz.

Sobre una ola derecha que se prestó para que el surfeador de Tamarindo mostrará su mejor atributo que es su frontside, Tomás combinó 16.33 (7.83 + 8.50) versus el 17.06 (9.03 + 8.03) de Raoni.

Durante más minutos, Tomás fue dueño del liderato; sin embargo, el brasileño en su última ola desplazó al tico con su 8.03, para finalmente embolsarse 12.000 dólares. Tomás volverá a casa con $6.000 a su cuenta personal.
