Q - Where did you grow up?
A - I grew up in the awesomest place ever, Pavones,Costa Rica!!!
Q - How long have you been surfing?
A - I have been surfing since I was 1 and a half.
Q - How did you get into surfing?
A -I got into surfing mostly from family influence and all day on the beach weekends
Q - What boards are you currently riding? (Model, type, length)
A - I've been riding Carton boards, 5'1". He's the best shaper ever!!!
Q - What are your favorite surfing maneuvers to do?
A -My favorite maneuver to do is the tail slide. It's fun to play with your tail, you should try it!!!
Q - What is your favorite thing about living in Costa Rica?
A - My favorite thing about living in Costa Rica is how it's so unique from anywhere else in the world. Its nature will always leave you in awe, from monkeys jumping on you, to a tree sitting there giving nature its own twist!! Oh, and not to forget it's warm!!!
Q - What are your top 3 favorite surf breaks in Costa Rica?
A - My three favorite surf spots in Costa Rica are Pavones and a couple secret spots around home!!
Q - Who are your favorite surfers to watch, in Costa Rica and worldwide?
A - My favorite surfers to watch in Costa Rica are my dad, Noe Mar, Betty Vindas, and Gilbert Brown. My favorite surfers to watch elsewhere are - Parko, Tyler Wright, Stefany Gilmore, Carrisa Moore, Coco Ho, Sally Fits., and all the girls on the WCT!!!
Q - What are your future surfing plans?
A - My future dream plans are to surf well enough and have the faith of God to be able to make a living with the sport that I love, SURFING! I know it will be hard with all the talent coming up, but that is truly my dream!
Q - What would you tell young kids that want to surf competitions to make a living?
A - Keep it up, train hard, never give up even if other people say so, follow your heart, and if you're not having fun then there is no point to it. With confidence you can pertty much do any thing!!! PS: DON'T TAKE IT AS I JOKE. I'M SERIOUS!!!
