The Guácima Racetrack will be the host to ska fever on Saturday December 12th with the band NOFX as the highlight of the sixth edition of the Festival Skatedra 2009. There will be a number of national and international groups on stage in the arena of the racetrack including NOFX from Colombia and Mojiganga Captain Punch from Panama. National groups that will appear include The MILIXIA, Calle Dolores, Sulalakaska, Askatasuna, Adapted and DoGandul.
The purpose of the event is for thousands of young people of different ages and backgrounds, both in Costa Rica and Central America to share a day filled with live music, sports, art and urban culture stated the organizers of the event.
