Dominical Surf Report from Jazzys River House – May 15th – 2019

Dominical

Dominical

jazzys-river-house-dominicalSteve at Jazzys River House - 6/19 - Celebrating a brief return to the old Dominical a scattered handful of surfers enjoyed a window of overhead peaks during the higher tide morning session recently. The standout ride was probably the triple tube wave: drop in, get barreled, get spit out, get barreled again, get spit out again, get barreled a third time, get spit out the third time and make a casual, nothing-to-it pull out. This was a rare occurrence but it was encouraging. The continued unsettled, stormy weather has taken it's toll, ravaging the lineup with strong winds and raging rain squalls.

Punta Dominical has seen some decent surf lately as has Dominicalito and Playa Hermosa south.

Hotel Roca Verde's Friday night live music scene continues with Kenny Nickel and Nancy Buchan and friends providing the lively entertainment for the dinner crowd and new chef Byron has been getting compliments on his kitchen skills.
