Leilani McGonagle is working hard to secure a place on the World Championship Tour and she got a step closer with a 2nd place finish at the Pichelemu Women’s Pro in Chile, a WQS stop worth 1500 points. She made it all the way to final where she lost only to Peruvian powerhouse Anali Gomez.
Leilani now heads to Australia to compete in the Port Stephens Pro, worth 6,000 points, and is accompanied by another rising Costa Rican surfing star Brisa Hennessy.
