Overview
Caribbean - Tiny surf to start the week with a slowly growing ENE wind swell showing up Wednesday and building to head high by the weekend. Most likely choppy conditions after midmorning.
Pacific - The last SSW swell fades out to waist to chest high surf by Monday and it stays small through Friday, with some background West swell pushing some chest high sets. Then a new SSW swell arrives Saturday with waves 1-2 feet overhead for most of the coast through next Monday.

There are ocassional good sessions mixed in. These are becoming more prevalent as we move out of the wet season. Watch the weather reports and look for morning high tides.

10/14 - Rainy season took over Tamarindo and the north pacific coast, shifty winds, chopy ocean and murky water is the usual when we get a tropical low pressure system after another, do not get me wrong, We Do Need this water for the coming soon dry season, so its a bless that keeps us out of the water few days of the week.
Playa Negra is not affected so bad, but the road to get there is very affected, waves and water are cleanner than other breaks, because the estuary is not on the same area whre the wave breaks, holding an average 2-3ft on the best sets this point break can and does get crowded. Winds do switch in the mid mornings along the the higher posibility of rain.
“Try out Surfing” is an entry level class that can be held privately, or in a group.
