AREA REPORTS
Northern Nicoya Peninsula
Louis at Hotel Las Tortugas - 12/9 - Conditions are perfect for the small, good surf as the surfing tides move into the morning and the wind combs the peaks until mid day. Double sessions through the beginning of the week. Everybody is here in the afternoon and mid morning since we are practically the only break close by big enough to work.
Alejandro at Seafari Costa Rica - 12/9 - The SSW and WNW swell disipated leaving behind a small SSW 1-2ft swell in Tamarindo, perfect for all those who are not into steep, fast drops and large crowds, but rather ride the long boards on a endless line to the beach, line up is now more crowded, all schools are back to the sand bars on the north end of Tamarindo, the point breaks still active but not lit up as they were few days ago. Winds are shifty now, smooth breeze from north in the mornings and SE wind in the afternoon within the higher tide.
