Overview
Caribbean - 16 feet at 11 seconds! That's what is headed for the Caribbean coast this weekend. The waves will be double overhead at the main reefs, and beach breaks will be a mess. Waves stay overhead through Monday then drop back to waist to chest by next Thursday.
Pacific - Waves will be consistent for the next week with a long period (3 feet at 14 seconds) SSW swell mixed with a shorter period SW. That means surf head high to overhead and lots of waves. A reinforcing SSW swell arrives Sunday to keep it overhead on the sets through next Wednesday.

Louis at Hotel Las Tortugas - 6/16 - We are starting to have all day off-shores every few days as the Indian Summer appears to be heading our way - probably by next weekend as the morning high tides kick in. Be careful in Nicaragua, I just had another friend have a close call there.
Alejandro at Seafari Costa Rica - 6/16 - Very small conditions, although looking on the bright, its been perfect for beginners to get confidence out there. 1-2ft on the best sets every other time, glass, no wind or very light if any and the sand bars spread along opened a long ride for several people at the same time. Longboards paradise!

Manuel Antonio / Dominical
Luis at Manuel Antonio Surf School - 6/16 - In Manuel Antonio the waves are small 1-3ft but the conditions are good. No wind and no rip tides.
Steve at Jazzys River House - This morning's high tide session wasn't great but an improvement over the past few days. 4' to 5' foot average with a few overhead waves, clean lines fairly consistent spacing and a brisk offshore were the features but the addition of some modest peaks were the major improvement over the long dumping flat walls we've been seeing. Small crowd under mostly clear blue skies topped things off today. Punta Dominical, Playa Hermosa South and Dominicalito also had better than average conditions today - a little smaller than Dominical but with some of the same features.
Southern Zone
Colin at Una Ola Surf Camp - 6/14 - The surf was flat, with knee high waves at best, this morning. There is still a lot of debris on the beaches, and the water is still brown from all the run off. The rivermouth has moved north around the corner, as the rainy season sandbars are shifting it’s course. This should set up some nice sandbars for the next swell.
The Caribbean
Solspot - 6/18 - 6-8 feet with a dominant ENE med-period swell. Primary Swell: 11.6ft. 9.3 seconds 67 degrees (ENE). East-Northeast med-period swell picking up.
