Caribbean - It's flat over the weekend but there will be a few knee to waist high waves by Sunday from the ENE and will stick around through Tuesday.
Pacific - Currently a SSW swell (2.8 ft. at 14 seconds from 203 degrees) brings head high waves, and it should be clean as there is not much other swell in the water. A new SSW backs it up on Monday, keeping it head high, but nothing bigger in the works.

Louis at Hotel Las Tortugas - 10/21 - It is actually raining more this week than before. The swell has been constant (head high to just overhead) and coming from a variety of directions. Surprisedly there are occasional good and uncrowded surf sessions, especially now with high tides in the morning and late afternoon. The off-shore wind patterns have still not straightened out but are showing signs of the dry season. If I had to guess, I would look for good, consistent, surf conditions beginning on Wednesday of next week.
Alejandro at Seafari Costa Rica - 10/21 - Rainy season is almost gone, but mean while the overcast days and shifting winds still here.
Eli at SurfingNosara.com - 10/24 - A little sunny morning and clean waves. The size is shoulder high to head high.
Surf Forecast.com - 10/24 - 1.5 ft swell from the SSW at 13 seconds producing 3-4 foot waves. Best day is the 26th and 28th with a foot overhead surf. Early morning low tide means check Santa Teresa first.
Christina at Surf Inn Hermosa - 10/24 - Fading SSW Swell - 3 ft and Low Tide This Morning -New SSW set to fill in for the weekend.

Steve at Jazzys River House - 10/21 - We are peakless again. The long walls are back, dumping hard as ever. One lonely surfer out this morning under clearing skies not having much luck with the strange conditions. Almost dead calm - barely a breeze, making wave faces glassy but the overall conditions were messy, the current was strong as usual and the water brown and dirty from daily rains. Wave height was 3'-4' and their direction was scattered. Dominicalito and Playa Hermosa South were smaller but not quite as messy. Far too small for Punta Dominical.

Colin at Una Ola Surf Camp - 10/24 - The surf was pretty much flat today with only some tiny waves to be found at the rivermouth. Not much else to report. It’s another beautiful rainy season day here in Pavones, Costa Rica. It was cloudy early morning, but cleared up for a while. The winds were calm early this morning, turning onshore this afternoon.
