AREA REPORTS
Northern Nicoya Peninsula
Louis at Hotel Las Tortugas - 2/18 - The wind has been blowing the surf out early and now as the high tide moves toward the afternoon, it is getting even trickier. This is unusual for mid February and although it has warmed the water up, the head high surf has not been the usual perfection and the sessions often short.
Alejandro at Seafari Costa Rica - 2/17 - Seems like a new SSW and NW swell is arriving, Tamarindo waves are 2ft consistent sets every 3 to 5 minutes, glassy, long and fast rides within the incoming tide at the Rivermouth, winds remain off shore and then switch to on shore around noon. Line up isn't to busy, although it is crowded at the sand bars inside breaks.

Nosara
Chico at SurfingNosara.com - 2/19 - Another beautiful morning, the waves are good and small, they are running waist high to chest high with the tide was low. We hope you all have a great day.

MalpaisurfCam.com - 2/18 - This morning at 7 am waves were waist to chest high with an occasionally head high one on the set. Light off shore wind and sunny clear skies. Fast and closing out, tide was really low and waves were breaking close to shore. Now and then the sets will break further out with a nice open wave.

Manuel Antonio / Dominical
Steve at Jazzys River House - 2/13 - A very mellow morning today - 2' to 4' relatively soft and slow waves (for Dominical) with nice straight lines and occasional peaks. Far less closed out than yesterday morning with corresponding larger crowds in the water today. Gentle, warm offshore breeze in contrast to recent cold early morning offshore conditions. Mostly clear, bright, sunny blue sky overhead. Excellent conditions for beginners and intermediate surfers.

Colin at Una Ola Surf Camp - 2/18 - The surf was small. Knee to waist high waves with clean conditions most of the morning.
The Caribbean
Solspot - 2/19 - 5-7 feet with a dominant ENE med-period swell. Primary Swell: 10.4ft. 9 seconds 69 degrees (ENE). East-Northeast med-period swell slowly fading.
