Overview:
Caribbean - Tiny waves through Saturday but a 5 ft at 8 second North swell sends some chest to head high waves for Sunday. It drops back to waist to chest for the next two days and then Wednesday a new ENE swell at 10 seconds pushes it back to overhead conditions that get bigger going towards next weekend.
Pacific - The surf isn't going away, but it's not getting bigger either. Slowly dropping surf with a bump Saturday from a 1.7 ft swell at 16 seconds, that gives the SW facing beaches head high waves. Then a newer SSW arrives Tuesday for more consistent head high surf. It gets back to overhead by next Sunday.

AREA REPORTS
Northern Nicoya Peninsula
Louis at Hotel Las Tortugas - 2/9 - This week finished with beautiful just overhead waves with brisk off-shores, warm water, and fast barrels. The tides will be moving into the early morning window this week and should bring good surf conditions.
Alejandro at Seafari Costa Rica - 2/26 - Tamarindo has been one of the best options to surf, the 3 direction combo swell disturbed plenty of breaks exposed to south and west. Morning winds are slowing down and switching during the afternoon.
Nosara
Eli at SurfingNosara.com - 2/25 - Very windy this morning, with good and fun waves. The size is chest high to shoulder high.

Southern Pacific
Quepos/Manuel Antonio
Luis at Manuel Antonio Surf School - 2/25 - The waves this week have been on the smaller side. Manuel Antonio saw some very small but surfable waves at El Bajo. Dominical has been shoulder high or so but for the most part it has been quite windy making the surf conditions tough. Early in the morning or later in the day has been better with breaks in the wind and has made for some cleaner conditions.
Steve at Jazzys River House - 2/26 - Picture perfect morning with some head high sets but forever between sets so have patience. Not a great direction so mostly closed out and yet occasional corners were open with firewall punch ala Dominical. Blue sky, bright sun, clean straight lines and very few out.
Colin at Una Ola Surf Camp - 2/24 - The surf was flat again today, nothing but weak ass ankle high waves at the top of the point. There hasn’t been enough swell to make it around the corner for more than a few days, which is fairly standard for this time of year, regardless of the early season swells we’ve been lucky to receive so far. The wind was calm and glassy this morning until about 11:00am, when it started to blow onshore.
Caribbean
Cahuita Experience - 2/10 - Over head waves all over the Caribbean, good throughout the morning then slight onshore winds but still totally ripable, glasses off aroumd 3-4. Salsa brava is safe bet this weekend.
