Northern Nicoya Peninsula
Louis at Hotel Las Tortugas - 12/4 - The wind is off-shore and the surf tides are in the morning for some great sessions in a consistent head high swell. The water is warm and the cloudy conditions are easy on the eyes.
Alejandro at Seafari Costa Rica -12/4 - Fun times in Tamarindo, 2-3ft waves, almost over with double session days, early morning temperatures are very comfortable and winds are not here yet, glassy and long rides on the sand bars and a river mouth active within mid tides. Morning sessions are not so crowded, compared to the afternoon sessions at the sand bars, local schools are busy, therefore if you have more experience, try the point breaks or near breaks.

Southern Pacific
Steve at Jazzys River House - 12/5 - Peaks again! Still small; nothing overhead but nice shape, clean conditions and consistent. Beautiful morning sessions with higher tides, mild offshore, blue skies and small crowds. Even later-in-the day lower tides have been fun and productive with only mild sideshore breeze disruption. Playa Hermosa South and Dominicalito have enjoyed good conditions only smaller than Dominical as always. No Point action - too small.
Colin at Una Ola Surf Camp - 11/30 - The surf was small today with mostly waist to chest high waves, with some larger sets breaking further up the point. The tide was high at first light this morning, making it a bit backwashed a warbled. The wind conditions are light and glassy at the moment. And it looks to be cleaning up.
Caribbean
Surf Forecast.com - 12/5 - Surf is waist to chest high with a ENE swell hitting with a 8 to 9 second period. It is drop a foot by the weekend but a new swell arrives Tuesday, pushing in more chest high surf.
